A Great Day Of Creator-Owned Comics

...at REVENGE OF in Eagle Rock.

Los Angeles is a great comic shop town. Any city would be lucky to have just one of our great comic shops. Golden Apple, Earth-2, Secret Headquarters, Collector’s Paradise, and more — each one an oasis of culture.

Revenge Of in Eagle Rock is the new kid on the block, and it’s a hell of a lot fun. Not only do they sell comics, toys and everything else a great shop offers, but there’s also pinball, games, novels and a great movie collection. Best of all, so far the live events they’ve put on have been stellar including yesterday’s big block party.

There’s over a half-century of institutional knowledge on that stage, most of it from Rick — his Giant Generator imprint at Image Comics is going to make comic books waves in 2024.

The shop hand sells our creator-owned comics, and sometimes that’s what it takes for comics that don’t contain Batman.

Next year I’ll be publishing my first ongoing creator owned collaboration in May of 2024 from Image Comics, and rather than focus on comic conventions I’ll be hoping to focus on comic shop signings. Lots more details to come this winter.
