It’s time to pull back the curtain on FALLING IN LOVE ON THE PATH TO HELL from Image Comics.
Here’s what’s on promise:
The debut issue of Falling in Love on the Path to Hell will showcase a massive extra-length story that drops readers straight into the action.
"We're inspired by samurai films, grindhouse, westerns, Tarantino, Lone Wolf & Cub and of course all our favorite weird, supernatural comic books," said Duggan, "This romance is our love letter to creator-owned comics—it's a story we can only tell at Image Comics. Garry Brown leads the strongest team I've been a part of in comics. Issue one is the most beautiful and violent comic I've read. My goal is to have a big damn omnibus of Falling in Love on the Path to Hell on shelves in a few years. We're bringing big, beautiful, violent and crazy fun ideas to comic shops this summer. Thanks for supporting this new ongoing comic that we love. Never code-approved and not for the faint of heart."
Brown added only: "What Gerry said."
There are so many companies making so many titles that just doing your very best work may not be enough to ensure that the work finds an audience, so you’re going to hear us beat the drums for this one loudly over the next few weeks. We printed an ashcan for retailers, we’re doing all kinds of press, and we apologize if you hear about it over and over.
If you enjoy the comic and want to support it the most important thing you can do is pre-order it at your local comic shop.
The seed of this comic was planted after our world fell into shade and we became dominated by…
…the narcissist.
The virus.
The wars.
Life is hell, but love can save us.
FALLING IN LOVE ON THE PATH TO HELL will give you exactly what our covers are selling, but you’ll fall in love with it for the story we’re not advertising.
Garry Brown is my partner and co-owner of this genre-bender and perhaps you will find the book because of my work, but you’ll love this series for Garry. He’s at the height of his considerable powers here. Joining us from Ireland is fantastically talented color artist Chris O’Halloran — he’s delivering perfect pages every time. Joe Sabino’s excellent letters and Elliott Gray’s electric logos and designs round out our team. The love of my life, Virginia has helped edit this book into the gem that you’ll hold in your hands soon. Here’s a preview of issue one.
I would like to take a moment to thank all our guest cover artists beginning with Klaus Janson and Rian Gonzalez. Their genius covers are going to help make sure this book gets the run I think it deserves.
So if you like what you see and want to see more, please pre-order our series. I’d like to see this book get the omnibus treatment someday. We’re gonna blow your hair back monthly this June.

Digital readers will be able to get their fix in the usual places, and at our landing page at Image over here.
For no reason other than I love what Garry and Chris did on this page, here’s a look at a quiet moment before a storm from our third issue.
By the time you finish the fourth issue, you’ll have a hint of what kind of long game we’re playing. Hope you fall in love with us.
Awww.
Thanks very much for your continued support.

PS — I have a few copies left of my limited edition hardcover photo book, TIMING/LUCK. Each one is signed on a vellum page, comes in a handsome cloth slipcase, and can be personalized if you like. These will never be reprinted in this format.
Well that preview sold me!!! Just ordered from my LCS!
Honestly, I fell in love with the ashcan the supporters got. I'm buying it again in from my LCS.
