If you’re in Los Angeles and want your comics signed by yours truly and Garry Brown…mark October 2, 2024 and stay tuned.
Looking ahead to October, we have a treat for you. I’ve received the inks from Frank Miller for his guest cover and I was totally blown away. We are over our very fucked up looking moon that the master has shared his talent with our new series. Jock is coloring as we speak and you’ll get to experience it this week. If you’re attending New York Comic Con, and you’re a fan of our book, then you’ll definitely want to watch this space.
And debuting this Wednesday is the comic that can’t be killed…DEAD EYES.
Dead Eyes: The Empty Frames is the start of our second trade, and it’s even sadder, funnier and more fucked-up than our first rodeo. There’s a preview over on the Image website. John and I have a lot of very exciting Dead Eyes news to come.
Orders will be coming due soon on the softcover of my photo book Timing/Luck on sale in comic shops and book stores this November. I had a great chat with Comic Book Resources about this new edition of the limited hardcover that was offered in this newsletter last year. Head over to CBR to read about it.
Big news on the horizon for THE DARK ROOM. The first hardcover has very low stock, Tamra is finishing up her sublime work on the colors, and I’m cooking up letters to share with the team on our second volume.
Okay, have a good week, you’ll hear from me again and you’ll see what maestros Miller & Jock have done on FALLING IN LOVE ON THE PATH TO HELL # 5 next month.
Enjoy Dead Eyes this week, get your orders in for Falling In Love.
Thanks for supporting creator owned comics. We’re grateful for the support.
Best,
Gerry
PS — with the softcover on he horizon, the last of my comps are disappearing quick. If you would like one of the super-rare ultra limited not to be reprinted signed hardcover in a slipcase photo book, then subscribe to this newsletter if you haven’t yet. The annual subscription comes with Timing/Luck and I slip a few signed comics into the box for good measure.
These are basically the last days of this offer, and if I run out, I’ll be in touch to refund your subscription.
