Folks, UA 3’s been put to bed, the letters polish for # 4 is underway and the preview for number two is hot off the presses. Issue 2 hits on Wednesday the 20th alongside reprints of the first issue. Javier and Morry are such an outstanding team, but don’t take my word for it — feast your eyes on these pages.

I’ve only got the keyboard for 5 oversized-ish issues, but I promise you, it will hit you upside the head as hard as an omnibus. Here’s a nice treat to wrap this update. The covers for issue 4 from Javier, Morry and an amazing variant cover by Matteo Scalera.

And finally, I can’t stress to you the value in proofreading before hitting publish, as I accidentally had dragged the entire completed PDF of the second issue into this post, and even though I’ve been writing for Marvel since 2011…I suspect my phone would have rung very early on Friday morning.

Uncanny Avengers feels like the comics non-stop action superhero comics I grew up on, and for longtime readers there is a thread I delight in to come in this series.
