I went to GWU a bit before your sister so they didn't have a photographer yet but coincidentally I just met the 3rd person who currently holds the job. He's developed a system to archive the images. I can put you in touch if you're interested.
My assumption is that GWU (or the Hatchet) has all of her film shot for the school & paper? But not sure where her personal shots end and the work begins. She took a disposable to the correspondents' dinner in 98. Feel free to introduce me if you like.
Although her timeline there meant she missed Jason and the Scorchers introducing a little song they had just written called Ring of Fire. I was amused.
As a professional archivist I think you're giving them far to much credit honestly. I'll bet they have almost none of this. Will Atkins and watkins@gwu.edu.
It's also likely if the timing is correct that some of those guitars were stolen a few months later, unfortunately.
